Marketing and Events Coordinator Description

Rapidly growing company in CLEARWATER, FL looking for an Internal PR Coordinator!

YOUR MISSION:

Your mission is to create a fun and positive environment where the staff feel loved and are engaged in various weekly activities. We pride ourselves on the atmosphere and you’ll be the one to execute all the fun-happenings we host.

The job consists of planning and executing events and activities for the staff. Some events will be providing snacks or treats, while others will be hosting games or activities such as Trivia. Several times a year, you will be planning and putting on a larger event, like a company picnic or mixer. And lastly, you will create opportunities for our staff to give back to our community by coordinating volunteer days such as helping out at a soup kitchen.

Our ideal candidate is a creator; someone confident, UPBEAT and who loves getting out there and being the star of the show. Someone who has the ability to get others excited.

Eager to grab new projects and run with them using your own creative ideas. You will also be creating various types of content for our various social media platforms - photos, videos, reels, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• The most important skill is being extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prepare and plan events several weeks / months ahead of time.

· Can write fun, short e-mails to keep staff engaged.

· Ability to create pleasing and aesthetic social media posts.

· Creative with a good aesthetic eye.

· Must love putting on events and making others happy.

· Must love helping others and giving back.

· Developing creative and impactful content that will be used to promote PostcardMania and our culture to potential new hires and clients.

• Positive, upbeat attitude – you will represent all things AWESOME at this company.
• Self-starter — you will be granted a lot of freedom and creativity on this post, and will be expected to fully create and execute the weekly events. You will have the help that you need from others on the team of course!

• Good organization and time management

WORK HOURS:

• This is a full-time in-office position.
• Monday through Friday from 9am to 5:30pm.

COMPENSATION

• Pay is negotiable based on experience but will start in the range of $18 – 20/ hour.
